Virginia’s Insurance Marketplace complies with applicable federal and state antidiscrimination laws.  It is the policy of Virginia’s Insurance Marketplace to ensure that all Marketplace programs and activities are carried out in a manner that does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, sex (including, but not limited to, sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability.  Virginia’s Marketplace does not exclude people or treat them differently because of any of these protected traits.

Virginia’s Insurance Marketplace is dedicated to ensuring its communications are effective and accessible for all consumers, including those with disabilities and those needing language assistance.  Virginia’s Marketplace provides free auxiliary aids and services to people with disabilities, such as qualified sign language interpreters and written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats).  Virginia’s Marketplace also provides free language assistance services to people whose primary language is not English, such as qualified interpreters and information written in other languages.
